Series 3 is as amazing as the rest. I'm so excited for what Is to come

Wow. I'm still in shock that we are on series three. I am soaring with joy, especially since Tim hinted at there being a series 4 and 5. I can imagine reading these series all my life and never getting tired of them. Which I can't imagine happening with any other series. Maybe I sound a bit bizarre, but these characters are like family. They have grown in my heart and soul over the last couple of years. Just thinking that their sagas may come to an end one day, makes me already feel a sense of loss. It would be utterly heartbreaking and I may end up sending out a missing person report.

With that being said, The Creeping Men was everything I had hoped it'd be and then some. It was bitter sweet and I feel Kiera made the right choice in Dead End. I was so curious where Tim was going to go with the story, and as always, I was really impressed with his imagination a creativity. He brought in something extremely creepy which had me screaming, "Why Tim', in my head. Its the stuff of nightmares.... And day-mares. Lol. I loved, loved, loved this Kiera addition and I'm dying for the next adventure. You are a genius, Tim.

Another crowd pleaser

I absolutely love Tim and his new innovative ways of writing Kiera and Potter. I like the new characters as well. I do hope that Potter and Kiera get back on track. I just cannot accept that they are not together. We will see what is in store for them in the next chapter.

A great story for all people who want to achieve 'personal everest'

This book is not a typical traveller book and is not only about journeys through high mountains. Beside technical side of preparation to climbing and how to survive in death zone and how to deal with illnesses, sickens and troubles in trainings, this book presents also point of view on family and mates and partners in comparison of our life choice. This book also showing very detailed life on Himalayas and Antarctica, in this areas climbers have a lots of funny and silly situations which makes smile on my face, but more often shows dangerous and glory of mountains and this how fragile is human life. Really good book not only for climbers but for people who want to take more from life.

I loved the book!!
It is well-written, easy to read. With almost every chapter, Ania made me cry. The development and changes of each trip are great. If that is all she had written, the book is worth buying. Overlaying her personal development and changes because of these challenges, more than doubles its value.
Typically one-time heroics or tragedies tell us little about the person or the event because the circumstances seem to coincidentally and inseparably merge the two. We wonder whether the heroism or tragic flaw would exist without the event. Is the person really heroic or tragic? How has each changed because of their interaction?
In Why the Hell Bother? Ania has created independent, detailed pictures of the person (herself) and the event (climbing the seven summits). We learn that each is impressive in their own right. But the compelling story is also the integration of these two as a struggle between an unrelenting will and an unforgiving force. We no longer wonder about the effect the summits had on Ania. The mystery is what affect Ania has had on the summits.
Her accounting has reminded me to return to my own writing and re-experience my struggles with events that helped form me at various passages in my life--and, to accept more challenges to change, to grow more.

A pure oxygen bubble

I read the book once and then twice. What a story. It made me travel from the Artic Circle to Antartica in some countries I don't know. It taught me what a safety carabiner is and what means a wuss in English - I'm French -. But above all, it was an invitation to follow in the footsteps of a woman too alive, too happy, too funny, too active, too accepting, too busy, too crazy and that is just the half of the story.

And this story is truly extreme. All is beyond imagination : the military discipline during preparation, the physicall price to pay in so terrible conditions and Ania's consciousness of how feels, how reacts, each part of her body, each part of her soul, each part of her surrounding. It is quasi mystical and beyond human limits... but she did it. Great! We have now some ideas of what a dramatic experience can mean in her mouth.

The favorite part of my reading is Mount McKinley with the basic precepts of the one-foot-in-front-another philosophy. So, thanks Ania for this pure oxygen bubble : it shines on my life even if it questions me on my own achievements.
